Modern Work & Security Insights Data
Introduction
Modern Work & Security Insights Data (MWSData) is owned by Modern Work & Security Insights team. MWSData contains data of pipeline, billed revenue, Azure consumed revenue related to Modern Work & Security products and Azure Security for reports and insights. This site introduces how to get access to MWSData Kusto cluster and has documentation for the data views and tables.
Get Access
MWSData cluster access can be requested at myaccess.
- MWSDataReader - read permission for MWSData database. This should be the option for most use cases.
- MWSDataUser - read permission for MWSData database and read+write permission for MWSWorkArea database. Please expect that not all of the MWSDataUser requests would be approved and we will reach you to understand your scenario of using MWSData if you request MWSDataUser. The write permission to MWSData database isn't open for request.
Get Started
If you are new to Kusto, Getting started with Kusto will be the good resource.
We recommend you to start with the data views. The Data Views Overview introduces what are the data views in MWSData and what's the difference between using data views and tables.
